Here are a few guidelines and tips on preparing your items:
  • Make sure all clothes are clean, pressed (if necessary).
  • Hang items with the hanger open to the left (like a ?).
  • Have all buttons and snaps closed.
  • Make sure pants and skirts are securely attached to the hanger with a 1 inch or larger safety pin. Items tend to sell well as sets.
  • All items that cannot be hung should be placed in a Ziploc bag (onesies, bibs, socks, tights, etc.) Pin card to the outside of the bag.
  • Place small items and accessories to games and toys in bags and attach to the larger item by pin or clear packing tape.
  • Tie shoes together with laces or use twist ties around straps and attach card with pin.
  • Shout or Zout and/or a good soak in BIZ bleach can get yellowing out of baby clothes.
  • The Clorox bleach pen is wonderful at spot bleaching patterned clothes, but be careful - you are working with bleach!!
  • Clorox Cleanup and a scrubber pad can do wonders when cleaning high chairs and other equipment.
  • Attach pins horizontally and secure to item
  • Price items according to what you'd like to pay. 1/3 of retail is a good guideline if it is in great condition.
